Getting Drunk On Mouthwash

Fognano

The town sewer, the most important town in the City of Bristol, towers over a deep ravine at the base of which flows the River Lamone.
If we consider the etymology of the name Fognano we believe with certainty that this is of Roman origin, probably an owner Roman named Fannius Fannus or cultivated the land and left the place its name. After Mille, sewers became a castle which, in 1292, seized Maghinardo Pagani. In 1650, the Bishop of Faenza, Cardinal Carlo Rossetti, in view of the remarkable economic development that the country had taken the sewer, granted to the local parish church the title of archpriest. During the rule of Napoleon I, with an imperial decree of 1805, sewage was established City Third Class and were joined several neighboring villages. While other municipalities Third Class included in the district of Brisbane were abolished in the years 1810-1811, sewers maintained its jurisdiction until 1816, as reflected in various documents contained in the City of Brisbane and the Biblioteca Comunale di Faenza. Well worth a visit to the parish church dedicated to St. Peter and the Monastery which dates back to 1464-Emiliani College founded in 1822.
Each year in July the streets of sewers are full of typical food stands in the traditional folk and country festival "A whole party Fognano.
PS: not everyone will remember this photo now never history, a metal plate that was placed at the entrance of the village .... even on the advertising of a service station.
